Lefkada's name means "white," from the famous white cliffs of Cape Lefkata, site of an ancient temple of Apollo, where rumor has it that the celebrated Lesbian poet Sappho flung herself from the rocks. To stay with the mythology theme, don’t miss a boat tour on the mighty Odysseia, a colorful replica of a Greek war ship. You can also explore deserted monasteries in the mountains, splash around under the Nidri waterfalls and swim at some of Greece's most famous and beautiful beaches.

Picture perfect beach in Lefkada. High cliffs and clear blue water makes a perfect getaway. Make sure you come early in high season as parking lots aren’t very spacious. Windy road to get there but not too difficult to reach it.

Agiofili beach is spectacular + great for snorkeling. Seen alot of big fish and small. There were moments that in front of me alot of fish, great experience. Who likes to dive from high cliffs there is a cliff where to jump from (the photo uploaded) This beach (in my opinion) is best reached with ferry from Vasiliki Port, its hassle free... They say you can walk it but I didnt experience that so cant tell if its easy or hard. Ferry is € 7 per person, with return to Vasiliki Port and will operate every hour. Enjoy :)

We like this beach so much. The beach is long and wide with sand and very small white pebble stones in the water. The view from the road just before arriving to Kathisma beach is amazing. The beach is well organised with plenty of sunbeds, parking spaces , taverns , showers and toilets. It's a close batle for the most beautiful beach in Lefkada, but this is on the podium sharing the 1st spot with Porto Katsiki.

One of the most and unique beaches i have ever visited in my life. Crystal clear water to dive into , great quality of sand and big enough so you can have your own space . 5 stars

The most well organised and accessible beach of Lefkada with msny tavernas and parking facilities. The price per umbrella and two sunbeds is 20€ including private safe box and 1.5 litre cold water.

At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.
It’s well worth the walk up to the Nydri waterfall. The walk from the parking area takes about 15/20 minutes. The path has been washed away in places but is still easy to follow, though some of the steps are quite steep so need to take care not to lose footing and slip in places. Thanks to the recent rainfall there was plenty of water both in the falls themselves and the pool below. We swam in the pool and it was FREEZING! The sun hits the water mid to late morning so that’s the time to go.

The beach is not large, but offers clean crystal water, calm with small waves, pebbles, no sand....there are sunbeds and umbrellas, you can order beverages from the tavernas nearby...really relaxing place, worth visiting.

I discovered it thanks to a Lefkada guide and have to say it is amazing quite and calm in comparison to the other beach of the island. White sand, turquoise sea and mills create a beatiful scenario. Unfortunately ( or not) there are only two bar and restaurants on the north side of the beach ( the best part) so it should be possible to find all umbrellas already taken . For this reason and if you want to move away from noise of the other beach here you' ll find the quite you are looking for.
