We visited Villa Calicantus after Reading trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. Daniele is very passionate about what he does. He was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The actual vineyard is small so don't expect a huge production. We tasted 3 different wines and did purchase a bottle of the final one! Each wine was accompanied by a different type of local cuisine - the first mushrooms in olive oil being our favourite, then local salami followed by 3 local cheeses. A lovely walk through the vineyards finished the evening with a chance to see the sunset across Lake Garda if the weather is on your side. Also thank you Daniele for your recommendation of Al Crespo in Garda - a wonderful tasting seafood tasting platter.

Gardaland resort is a great place to spend great time with whole family. The youngest children had a good time with attractions designed for them. The older ones - grandpa and parents :) - could collect large doses of adrenaline while riding on roller coasters - incredible infrastructure.
We had really fun staying there!

In the second lake the water temperature is around 29°-30°. At the Wellness Centre guests have access to several saunas, steam bath (aroma and chromotherapy), sun shower, whirlpool with thermal water and can enjoy aesthetic treatments and massages. Inside the sports area you will find a fitness room, a thermal pool and a medical centre (osteopathy, kinesiology, physiotherapy and rehabilitation) for Medical Fitness.

The thermal park is great as well as the Gardens are. Note that temperature in the lakes is not homogenous. There might be sectors where temperature is 33-34 degrees (celsius) and sectors where it is circa 38 degrees. Actually notable difference especially when it is not so warm outside.
Personnel could be somewhat more helpful and explain information on lockers and safes more clearly. This might help to the customers who are here for the first time. Otherwise this may lead to some misunderstandings.

Absolutely STUNNING lake. Rugged Mountains make it a picturesque place to be. The town of Sirmione is unbelievably charming. The weather was horrible when we were there but didn't affect my opinion on the place. I would summer here every year if possible. The only negative was that my phone was stolen quickly out of the FRONT pocket of my pants within a 10 second window. I was shocked because this doesn't seem like a town where you need to be on high alert but BEWARE. The police didn't seem to care either. But overall, I will be back to this beautiful place just with caution!

Tenuta Preella Lamberti

Come and discover Tenuta Preella. A long avenue of cypresses rises up the hill with its planted vineyards (27 hectares); from here we can glimpse the profile of the Mountains surrounding lake Garda. Alone or accompanied by a guide, you can relax yourself in the vineyards, visit the 16th century country home and two adjacent wine-making cellars. Finally a wine tasting accompanied with local snacks.

A group of friends organized dinner there, so I joined them.
Service was good, some of the appetisers interesting and new, pasta dishes were tasty and well-prepared.
Quite strange the coupling with some of the wines served in combination with different meals. I expected a better overall quality.

Wheelchair accessible. Lots of locals come here, so come early in the evening. Had the veal liver with sauté onions. Some of the best liver I've had in a long time. I'm not a big fan of panne cotta, but ordered it anyway for my son. Thank goodness I did. It was with a pured strawberry sauce and not that crusty pudding one normally gets. With 3 people, wine, coffees, meals, we paid mid 60's.

Visited the sanctuary today and felt compelled to write a review as I was awe struck at the peaceful tranquility of this place. It is beautiful and well looked after by the monks who are always around and available . Candles are available to light for a euro donation and there is a lovely aviary and a goldfish and terrapin pool in the cloister area. The chapel is stunning architecture , paintings , statues and altars. Sit and enjoy the ambience of this peaceful place and forget about the world outside.
