Wiltse Creek Studio offers hand created gifts and home decor made by local artisans. In our small shop you will find original paintings on canvas, wood, glass, and metal, jewellery, crocheted carpets, paper goods, matted photography and cards. The studio offers painting classes for those with no painting experience with fun 2 - 4 hour classes as well as classes for children and private parties. Chair caning services are available. The studio is open year round with regular hours between May and September and again at Christmas. All other times are by chance or appointment. Please check our website for current hours and the Facebook feed for "open today by chance" notices.

The 1000 Islands Tower (formerly known as 1000 Islands Skydeck) is a unique tourist attraction located between the spans of the 1000 Islands International Bridge on Hill Island. Running continuously, the elevator takes only 40 seconds to reach the first of three observation decks and provide visitors with a spectacular photographic opportunity as they enjoy the panoramic view of the 1000 Islands and St Lawrence River stretched out 400' below. The first deck is glass enclosed and wheelchair accessible. Visitors can browse our Gift shop, exchange Currency and enjoy a Cup of Coffee in our Skydeck Cafe.

Interesting place it’s been here for years and was and always a treat to stop and get some good views of the thousand Islands area. Elevator ride to the top was pleasant and very fast. I remember this place is a kid I enjoyed it done and I enjoy it now some 50 years later. John on the observation deck very helpful and knowledgeable one different areas to look at and history of different things in the area. He mentioned some other places that we should check out while we are in the area and we are grateful for his suggestions we had a great time at the first railway tunnel in Canada up in Brockville. definitely worth a stop and we look forward to another visit some other time.

Our first time at this park and we really enjoyed it. Stayed in Meadowlands with a 36' RV and there were quite a few large electrical sites with trees/privacy. Right across the road from the visitor's center and a couple hikes. No cell service at the campground but we were able to get a weak signal at the beach. Beach was 1km+ down the road so had to drive, next time we'll try for the campground that's closer. There were lots of hikes to choose from with various levels of difficulty. We really enjoyed the Sandstone Island hike (including 9 year old and teenager), it had interesting rock formations and you can download the trail guide on your phone to follow along at the posts. There was a large boat ramp and 2 docks at the very end of the park, past Sandstone Island trail. We found it by accident but it was perfect for the boys to throw in their fishing rods for an hour or two. Disappointed that canoe and kayak rentals were closed due to covid - we've been to many other Parks this year and have been able to rent kayaks ... so not sure why this park was any different? Would have been great to explore the lake in a kayak, it was huge and seemed beautiful from the beach.

Needs more parking maybe. Mostly you need to park on grass. Not the safest with red hot catalytic converters sitting on dry grass. Great trails.
