Pagsanjan Falls

Reviewed By achidz - Manila, Philippines

We had such a good morning. Stayed at Casa Del Rio and they sorted the boat for us. 1250pp seems expensive but is definitely worth it. The scenery is stunning and we saw plenty of wildlife too, monkeys, kingfishers, and a woodpecker. Easy to do on your own. We got the HM liner bus from Cubao for 166php each. Jeepney from Santa Cruz to Pagsanjan. Cheaper than some of the tours advertised, even with a night in Casa Del Rio.

Lakes Pandin

Instagramnable place! Very near Manila. Visited with my 13 year old son and sister from NZ. Surprisingly low cost worth it four hour drive from Manila. Better to reserve if you are in a big group but for a smaller group like us, you can come as a joiner. The food was amazing! All serve in the balsa while enjoying the picturesque view. Worth the php440.00 per head for tilapia, pako salad, okoy plus liempo as add on for php40.00. Parking is 50.00 per car with motorcycle ride going to the site at 50php/head. But you can walk from the parking to the lake if you want an exercise for 15 min walk. Call ate tina if you want to reserve at 09079952983

Lake Pandin

Get ready to hike through a rough trail for about 20min to reach the lake. At the lake shore are waiting sheds where you book for your lake tour. You have the option to include native lunch at a package rate of about 10 USD per person. Tour takes about 2hours. Its nature at it's best. Even the food served is sourced from the lake.

The place for all ages, for friends and families, it offers the fresh air of provincial living and the convenience of city living. The koi and the lake, fish feeding and the boat ride are big hits for everyone. Families can have picnics along the lake while some can opt to dine in the numerous restaurants around the area. Best to visit the area early.morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat of the sun and the crowd.

Hidden Valley Springs

Reviewed By 460JenniferP - Vancouver, Canada

We had a fairly large group with kids from age 2-25 and everyone had a great time here! I read other reviews before going and they were quite accurate and gave me a good sense of the place. Bring mosquito repellant, water shoes and towels then prepare to enjoy! The photo ops are spectacular so bring a water camera or a waterproof phone bag. My favourite was the large warm pool - just delightful! If you stay over the little cabins are very nicely outfitted and comfortable. Enjoy Hidden Valley, a super easy day trip from Manila.
