We had a great tour around cesis, sigulda and turaida. Aldis was amazing! He was informative and was very enthusiastic until the end of the trip. He was sweet and sees to it that we were comfortable.. Knows a lot of local places to try and tajes, a lot of pictures, too! I recommend this hassle free day trip.. ????????

We loved our day visit to Sigulda. It was around an hour by train from Riga. Such a pretty town, spotlessly clean and very quiet in Feb but plenty to see and do. The Lutheran Church looked a picture infront of the frozen pond with clear blue skies above. The Livonian Castle was interesting with great views across the valley to Krimulda Manor and Turaida Castle. Plenty of places to get lunch and a drink. One of the prettiest railway stations I have seen and lovely and warm whilst we waited for the train home. If you want to go outside of Riga this is a great choice.
3. Kuldiga & Countryside Tour

We had a personal tour on sunday 9 august 2020. our guide (Mikelis) had studied geography, i remember. We really enjoyed the tour. Visited Kaunas, hills of crosses, Salaspils Memorial, Rundāle palace and had a nice local food. Our guide could tell a lot and we could talk with him about heritage from the past, differences and similarities between countries and was really helpful.Thanks for the tour!

Guide never showed up or bothered to contact or inform me in anyway about cancellation. Very unprofessional. I recommend avoiding this operator like a plague.

Absolutely incredible tour by visiting two castles, Segulda and Turaida on December 17 with Valdis. Even during the Covid timing the tour was magnificent to learn more about history of this incredible and lovely country. Valdis was knowledgable, friendly and lovely. The tour started with ruins of Segulda castle and finished with visiting Turaida. This time of the year with less people and some uncertainties it was magical to wonder around the castles in more tranquil environment and learn more about history of Latvia. Thank you very very much.

7. Amazing two day trip along Latvian cost line
Most scenic places of Latvian western part Kurzeme (Kurland). This is not regular touristy route. Most of places are not visited by large tourist numbers and mostly locals will be ones we meet. You will have car/minivan with our driver at your disposal for full two days. As this is two day trip we will need to stay one night in one of the hotels/guest homes on Kurland coast (Please contact us for hotel advice right after you will book this tour), we'll try to catch seaside sunset on one of the least crowded beaches. Advice with us to make any changes regards timing or route. If we follow prearranged route then drive times (time spent on road) should be: First day 4 hours Second day 4 hours +Liepaja tour Our driver will advice best local restaurants on the way according to requested timing. We had a lot of private guides in our holidays around the world, in almost 20 countries and every time we had at least two or three of them. Harijs, our today's guide, was for sure one of the best. Warm, friendly, even thrilled to show us Riga and to explain us a lot of very interesting stories and anecdotes. Four and half hours passed in a while. He speaks a perfect English and was always helpful to answer a lot of questions. If you are a family o a small group of friends, Harijs is the perfect guide to introduce you to Riga beauties.
