Kalibiru National Park

Reviewed By jxxxli - Singapore, Singapore

Didn't regret traveling all the way to Kalibiru, it is about 1.5 hour drive from Borobudur. Lots of scenic spots to take photos. Each photo spot charges about Rp10.000 or Rp15.000 per pax but it is totally worth it. You can also engage their photographer there to help you take photos using their DSLR. Great to visit with friends!
Tip: Avoid visiting here on weekends and festive period as I heard from the locals that the waiting time for the photo spots can be very long. I visited here on a weekday afternoon, no queue at all.

Should be doing proper maintenance,as quite busy place for weekend get away from people around the area.
Parking fee, paid twice upon arrival with entrance fee, then additional parking fee on the area.

I was brought here by my local friend, and it was stunning! Like three Waterfalls to choose, and it was very picture perfect! You can meet local vendors, selling cheap foods (if you can speak Javanese or Indonesian hahaha) so you better come with a local friend.

The place is very quiet and calm. Bear the entrance, there are people selling flowers, candles, Catholic religious accessories as well as some cafe. The design is rather unique and beautiful. For Catholics, if you want to pray in front of Mother Mary's statue, they also provided some short chairs, so you don't have to sit on the ground. They also have a blessed water you can take home.

Ayunan Langit

Reviewed By nissa_arus - Johor Bahru, Malaysia

At first, my knees were shaky because of the height and the swing is pulled manually by hand, but after the swing start... oh my my! It was a great feeling.
Imagine swinging in the sky with 360° Panorama of beautiful nature. It was calming for me. The view definitely worth it.
Plus, there were several photo spots they created near the cliff. Such as witch broomstick, so you can pretend to be in Harry Potter world for a while.
It cost 15000 IDR for a ride to the top and 10000 IDR for 'ayunan langit'.
