Juanita Beach Park

The was the last stop during our visit to Kirkland. This beach used to have a resort owned and operated by the Forbes family until they sold it King’s County. This fulfilled their wish to make their land public. More details were found on a market near the beach. Besides the well maintained beach, a boardwalk extended out into the lake in an L shape. A large playground was also being built and will someday entertain lots of kids. This parking lot had quite a bit of open spaces along with spots across the street so it makes it easier for many to enjoy once the weather warms up.
