Post pandemic and lockdowns.. We decided to move out of city and spend some time in mountains and work from there.. Chitkul was always on our mind.. But due to limited connectivity we choose weekend to visit our wish.. Surprisingly connectivity has really improved but limited to BSNL... Approach was difficult but totally worth it. The pictures available online does no justice to The beauty the place offers.. The serenity is unmatched.. We stayed at Samaa Resorts and that was the best choice.. We felt very safe there as they adapted all safety measures required due to corona.. Walking around.. Sitting by the river and admiring the mountains around ...is the memory that is etched in our hearts and we definitely want to visit the place again..!

His price was do resnable.. he has good driving experience with good your knowledge.. it was great experience to travel with Mr. Sonu. Both my wife and myself visited this monastery. This monastery is attractive and situated at the top of the hill. People have to walk a lot upwards to reach there. People in monastery offer 'prasad' (apple, almond, etc. even biscuit) to tourist. The famous Sangla Buddhist Monastery is located near Reckong Peo in Brelengi Thus, and is also known as Brelengi Gompa, in Sangla. The monastery was founded in 1992 by the Mahabodhi Society to assist the Dalai Lama to perform the Kalachakra ceremony. It is one of the best and most popular places nearby Sangla, where large number of tourists visit everyday. The monastery displays modern Buddhist edifice and near to the monastery is a 10 meter high statue of standing Buddha, which looks majestic. The Sangla valley has a strong influence of Buddhism and so, the monasteries here attract a lot of tourists who come here to enjoy the astounding beauty of the place as well as to see the monastery. The wooden walls and the roof of this amazing monastery are intricately designed to give a great experience to the visitors who adore the Tibetan culture selflessly. Reaching the Buddhist Monastery is easy as there are regular buses that connect Sangla to major cities like Shimla and Delhi.

A beautiful village which looks just out of cartoon movies in which you see the starting of all stories. You will hardly see a soul around but the whole entrance setting is amazing.

Durga mata temple is traditional himachal style beautiful temple,here locally vehicle traffic is very less ,sarrounding high mountains inbetween river , here u can have pollution free air feel some thing different ,for stay,food good & reasonable prices,to reach Rekong peo from Simla ,Chandigad available buses or taxies,for complite rest this place is ideal.

Chitkul was wonderful experience..we started from sangle in the morning.i enjoyed the entire journey.It is the last village from Indian side of Indo Tibet border in Kinnaur valley..We took our jeep in the river side,was looking at the peaks which leads to the other country..To see Chitkul, I again realise that Himalayas are full of surprises and there will be a mystery always every time you visit.

Kinnour valley View and pictures road from shimla, dream come true. Kinnour kailash part of Panch Kailash having difficult trek to reach on top. Unfortunately yatra was not opned this year due to difficulties. Goverment has not issued permit, so we have to return back !!!

This point is about 3 to 4 Kms from HPTDC Hotel Kalpa and we went there in the afternoon of 17th September 2019. The point has an excellent panoramic views of the surrounding Hills and Valley. There is a sheer drop of about 1000 feet from the point in to the valley and we parked the Car at the point and walked about 200 meters on the curved road and the site is breathtaking. Those who see the photo without the approaching road will definitely be stunned not knowing how the car came up to there. I don't who coined the Suicide Point for this but definitely it's not that and I did not here any suicides happening there. Locally it is called Roghi Point as its on the road to Roghi, a heritage( ?) Village. The road to this point is very narrow and need cautious driving, but the surface is excellent. The visit to this Point is worth the trouble of tough drive and a must. When we were there Riders on bikes from Delhi also came and took pictures by placing the bike at the Point. here
