Haft Tepe

Reviewed By amirhosseinf - Tehran, Iran

Haft Tape (in eng:Seven Hills), a collection of 14 ancient hills, is located 15 km south-east of the city of Susa, and its distance from Chogha Sanbil Temple is 23 km. The tomb that was discovered on this site is attributed to the discovery of the tabernacle, named after the Tibetan name Ahar, as the king. The Tibetan burial site of Ahar and its ruins was a private temple with a lounge, porch and courtyard attached to a public tramway by a corridor. The arch is the first arch descendant built in ancient Persia, and according to historians, is the invention of Elamite architects. The public tomb is outside the temple of a large platform, divided into three sections by low-rise walls. In the northern part of this platform there are seven skeletons, in the southern part there are two or three skeletons, and in the middle part, smaller than the other two, skeletons have not been found. The spectacular and insightful details of this tomb that archaeologists have noticed is a mass grave found at the foot of the great platform at the southernmost part of the tomb and right next door to the entrance door. There are ten skeletons with irregular layouts, sometimes overlapping. A great deal of interest has been discovered in this area, which interested visitors can visit the Seven Hills Museum.
