True to its name, the Everest View Trek is all about the Everest panorama. We begin our 12-day trip in Kathmandu with visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites before heading to the most coveted region in Nepal. On our trek, we also reach the Tengboche Gumba which is situated at 3,867 m and is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal. From here, the panoramic views of the Himalayas of Nepal including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Everest are ours to admire. The Everest View Trek features a wide range of panoramic mountain scenery of Nepal combined with unique cultural encounters with the Sherpa people and their rich culture which is closely tied to Buddhism. This trek is ideal for anyone who wishes to enjoy the surreal beauty of the Nepalese Himalayas and Everest in particular while also enjoying an easy trek.

I just completed the Mount kilimanjaro climb organized by Himalayan Glacier. I was supported by a fantastic guide Fromance. He ensured my safety and took me on several additional walks at the various huts where we stayed. We had fun and very interesting adventures. The rest of the team included a fantastic chef, Yona, who created spectacular dishes including a celebratory cake for us after finishing the climb. I would highly recommend anyone considering this climb to go with Himalayan Glacier

I have been trekking many times in Nepal since 1994. For the first time, Norsang was our guide for the Kanchenjunga trek in 2004, a difficult trek that could be done only as a camping trek at this time. Norsang was a very competent guide, organizing everything perfectly: Airplane tickets, permits, trekking staff, food, tents etc. Since then, it was clear to me that Norsang would be “the” guide for our future treks. So we went later to Dolpo in 2009 with Norsang, then around Manaslu in 2013 with his brother Sanjay. This year (November 2019), my wife and I decided to go trekking in the Upper Mustang. Naturally, we asked again Norsang to organize the trek. I had specific requirements because I wanted absolutely to keep away from the motor road that runs along the Kali Gandaki. Norsang proposed a fantastic itinerary, with breathtaking views of canyons, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri. He was very well organized, very patient when we were slow, chose carefully the places where we stayed. I definitely recommend Norsang to anybody going trekking in Nepal. He has a vast experience in all trekking areas, has great contacts in the local population. He is 100% reliable, his quotes are perfectly clear, as well as what is included and what is not, there are no surprises as far as the cost of the trek. And his fees are very reasonable. No question: Norsang is a five-star guide. Lucky you if you go trekking with him, you’ll have a fantastic experience wherever he takes you to.

Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri Trek is an outstanding trek, which passes through the high valleys of Khumbu. Flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, we follow the Dudh Koshi valley up to the Sherpa capital of Namche, and then follow the quiet trail to Thame village in the Bhote Koshi valley. Descending to Khumjung, we are treated with the incredible views of Kantega and Thamserku and the Nuptse-Lhotse wall with Everest so realistic above. At Khumjung we rejoice below Khumbila Peak, home of the patron God of the Khumbu, before continuing up the Dudh Koshi valley to Gokyo’s alpine lakes. We ascend up to Gokyo Ri for a 360 degree panorama of snow-capped peaks in Everest Region. From Gokyo, we trek to Thagnak and then the next day cross Cho La pass, one of the toughest days of the trip as it involves steep glacier traverse through vertical icy rock surfaces. From Dzongla, we take lower route along the valley and rejoin the main trail to Everest Base Camp.

This was our second time using this company. The service as always is the best. From our initial email to KP with basically the dates when we arrive to the day we fly out he came up with a great itinerary for us. KP believes in customer service and delivers. Our guide and porter could not have been more enjoyable to spend time with and experience this part of their country with. Big thanks to Big Raj and Little Raj. As our trip went on things did not go as planned. The weather had changed so we could not do everything we wanted. Every night we would look at other options if we needed to fill some days. Alway had great suggestions from Big Raj. When we needed to leave the country in a hurry because they were closing the Airport KP arranged flights back to Kathmandu so we could deal with this. With out KP’s help we would have been stuck in Nepal. For our next trip to Nepal we know who we will be in contact with.
