It was a great experience. They picked us up at 3:30 from our cruise ship docked on the east side of the river. Then we were taken to the takeoff site where we watched the preparation od the balloons. Flew over Hatshepsut temple, Valley of the Kings etc and stopped for the sunrise over thr Nile. We were floating at over 700 m above the ground. The flight took around 50 minutes. Then we were driven back to the ship. Great! Totally recommend!

I signed up for the tour and it was great! Ragab timed the tour perfectly to avoid most of the tourist and o even got to tour Luxor temple by myself! The driver came to pick me up at my hotel and it was nice air conditioned...a must especially during hot summer. Ragab explained the history well! It was worth the money!

The driver and the tour guide were at our Airbnb 10 minutes earlier. The van was spacious and clean. The vibe was relaxed and positive since the beginning. Abdu, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and he showed proficiency not only in French but also in English. Alexandria is beautiful and the Mediterranean Sea is what crowns it. The Greco Roman catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, the Citadel of Qaitbay, the restaurant, everything was delightful. At the end our driver even helped us find a suitcase in downtown Cairo. It was awesome!
6. Trip To Kharga And Dakhla Oasis From Luxor
Visit the Roman Temple of Hibis & Nadora from outside and the early Christian Cemetery with its chapels painted with murals at Bagawat. Then we drive to Dakhla Oasis, where we spend the night at an Oasis style hut with red huts, communal showers and basic facilities. Overnight in Dakhla. After breakfast, enjoy a trip to the Roman temple of Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqa. We were actually on the Sun Goddess, a sister ship to the Moon Goddess. The ship was renovared in the last year or two and everything looked new and clean. The cruise was lovely and stopped in all the right places. The food was really good and wholesome. We did not know of a single person who developed GI issues. Overall the staff and service were excellent.
