At 50 and out of shape, I spent a month at Rawai. I’m not a very outgoing person, and on my own, I was made to feel very at home there. I’m not going to pretend it was easy, but I eventually managed to get through the two group sessions in a day. I’d suggest working up to 5 by 2 minute rounds of skipping with a two minute break that includes 10 pushups and 10 sit-ups before going. I never did that and could achieve it by the time I returned home but feel I missed some technique lessons because of fitness. If you go as a couple, just do the morning session, hire some scooters, and be amazed by the beautiful day trips and amazing food. As soon as Covid19 is over do it! Brilliant.

Sammy from Mark One Tailors was excellent. Very helpful, professional and great customer service. He was focussed on ensuring we were pleased with the final product. He is certainly an expert in his craft. He kept to all the timelines for our fittings. We had the initial fitting followed by another. A few of our items then needed refining and were ready the following day. One of my dresses however, needed some additional work and to ensure we weren’t stressed Sammy delivered it to our hotel on time the next morning. The fabrics were of the highest quality with plenty of choice. Now Sammy has our measurements we are keen to be able to reorder new items when we return to Australia. Between my husband and I, we had suits, casual pants, shirts, dresses and a long winter coat made; all of which were faultless. Being very tall people it is very special to have perfectly fitted attire. Thank you Sammy - we highly recommend Mark One Tailors to everyone.

My wife and I have been regular Bangniang Slimming and Massages customers for the past couple of years and absolutely love this place - and we've never found anything quite like it, in the area or elsewhere. What really stands out of for us is the fantastic technique and perception that our favourite masseuses display - we're always amazed at the way they can read the body, finding and working on any tension points with great accuracy with a really wide range of approaches and rhythms. Wow! We usually go for a tonic traditional Thai massage or the softer Thai Herbal Oil massage, with longer sessions, which give therapists more time to work where it’s needed - whatever you choose, from the very first touch, you'll know that you're in professional and very experienced hands… Beyond that, there's also a nice homely atmosphere in the shop's small but comfortable and impeccable facilities/equipment, with nice attention to detail and pre and post-massage drinks. Me and my husband hadagreat time on Ann's course! We ended up having aprivate class and it was great! We started at the local market and ann showed us everything and explained about local herbs and spices, we picked up fresh ingredients according to the dishes we decided to cook and then went to the cooking school and started working. We could not have chosen a better tailor. The two brothers Mr. Christian and Mr. Raj were very friendly and gave us an excellent professional service. We were always picked up at the hotel. At the shop they listened carefully to what we wanted, helped with useful advise but never pushed us into buying anything. I'm presently wearing a pair of black pants. They are not only comfortable but they do look good. My only mistake, I should have ordered more than one pair. Over the years we have tried many tailors in Khao Lak but THE BEST TAILOR are by far the best.

Excellent experience! I went in looking to have a blazer made. Compared to a tailor I'd been to the night before, who didn't fill me with any confidence, Aaman knew exactly what I was talking about and we were soon looking at blazers and fabrics and agreed on a design. The hospitality was first rate and I never felt rushed. Being offered a beer was a great touch - well I was on holiday :) I was so pleased with the experience that he didn't have a hard upsell and I decided to buy a blazer and a suit. Oh, and 5 shirts! All bespoke and for a great price compared to the UK. The jackets were tailored to my body type (muscular - not bragging....), as were the trousers which fitted my fat bum and thighs perfectly! The shirts were equally well-fitted and he also made the left sleeves wider to accommodate my watch. Three fittings later and I had everything ready to take home, and I couldn't wait to wear them! Friends have commented how great the jacket and suit look and I often get comments about the shirts. Very pleased!!

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Wandee. She picked us up and we had a stroll round the market, then we went to cook. Al the dishes we made were lovely and we learned a lot. Wandee speaks fantastic English and is a great host! Highly recommended if you want to experience how to cook authentic Thai dishes. ????
