Boulevard Lane Park

Reviewed By KweqSmanit - Seattle, United States

Boulevard Lane Park, located in Kent, is a great smaller park with a nice outdoor basketball court and a nice tree encircled grass open field and a kids playground area as well as a short and scenic wooden nature boardwalk to explore. The boardwalk ends in a swampy area after a short walk. There are dragonflies and stellar jays, plenty of ravens, squirrels, hawks, bluejays to keep you company. It isn't crowded here but is worth visiting for some peace and quiet time and isn't too busy so you may have it to yourself if you are lucky. Parking is limited and it is near houses so you will want to be mindful you are in a residential area but tis is worth a visit in my opinion.

Chestnut Ridge Park

Reviewed By KweqSmanit - Seattle, United States

Chestnut Ridge is a very nice park in the south of Renton area and north of Kent. It is near an elementary school next door and located primarily in a residential kind of area but has a great view looking towards SeaTac airport and you can watch planes land as well. It features a really nice playground, covered barbecue and picnic tables area, bathrooms and a drinking fountain, trash cans, a walking and jogging track which goes around the park area and as well there is plenty of room for sunbathing or flying a frisbee or throwing the football around. Though it isn't really big it is very nice and well taken care of and I would come here again for sure for a picnic or just for some relaxation time.
