On the SW side of downtown Rockford, this park and waterfront development is just beautiful. Of course we were there at the best time of year to enjoy all the flowers and folliage on both sides of the cascading Rogue River. There are plenty of benches where you can sit and just enjoy the soothing water sounds, watch the river come over the dam and people-watch. It's really worth taking a few minutes out of the shopping circuit in downtown Rockford to relax and enjoy this beauty...any time of year.

This beautiful piece by world renowned sculptor Alexander Calder has been the symbol of Grand Rapids since its installation in 1967. And it is a wonder. Walk all around it. Walk under it! Take photos from all angles. Truly iconic!! And check out the nearby sculpture "Motu" by Mark di Suvero....it's the giant rubber tire swing. Enjoy!!

It's nothing great,depends on time of year what you will see. Fun to watch them fish and see all the carp. We stop in at the bread store and get the waste bread to feed them.
