Railtown Brewing Company

Reviewed By Unlucky-itseemz - Middleville, United States

We were looking for some place different for a mid-week dinner and were driving thru Dutton and seen Railtown and wheeled into the lot. Driven by a 100 times but never stopped until tonight. We were greeted and promptly seated. Our friendly server Amanda came over and welcomed us. She got me a couple samples and my wife’s soda. Chose the boysen bliss, which is delicious and ordered some cheese curds to start. They were perfectly fried and wonderful. Then we ordered some sandwiches for dinner. I got the cheese steak and my ordered the California Rueben. The cheese steak is amazing but huuuge. It’s really enough for two. My wife absolutely loved the Rueben. I topped it off with a wonderful t-pearl. Amanda is a great server too, very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely return. A ????

Greyline Brewing Co.

Reviewed By Duke792016 - Grand Rapids, United States

Greyline Brewing is a quaint local with multiple beer selections and great food at a value. Service is “team” and there is always someone near to help with any request. They have multiple community tables to go along with 4 top tables. The Cuban sliders are amazing and their Mousaka beer is an award winner. They do have an outdoor patio if you want some Fresh air. They offer all their beers “to go” as you can request to have them can a 32oz. On the spot. The only negative is their not a “view” if you are looking for that in your dining experience it everything inside is first class. Top notch local tavern.

B.O.B.'s Brewery

B.O.B.’s Brewery (est. 1997) is the first microbrewery to open in downtown Grand Rapids. For over 20 years, the brewery's philosophy has remained grounded in its core values: quality ingredients, time-honored brewing techniques, small-batch beers, and nuanced flavor profiles. A high school science teacher turned brewmaster, "Brewer John" Svoboda could be called the Walter White of the West Michigan brewing scene. John has a passion for traditional German beer styles and a talent for creating unique one-offs. The scale of B.O.B.’s Brewery allows John the opportunity to take some risks. With risk comes reward in the form of outstanding beer like Peanut Butter Porter, Tiramisu Stout, & Hoptics Gosé. Fittingly, the brewery resides in the cellar of The B.O.B.–and like a good stout–the space is eclectic, comfortable and a touch dark. The folks at B.O.B.'s Brewery don't have to worry about serving beer to the entire world. Their focus remains on serving one beer at a time… Yours.

We were downtown for a concert and stopped for dinner without reservations. They only had space at the bar so we were reluctant but were happy we did. The service was very friendly, very quick and responsive. The food was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves with a glass of wine, a couple of craft beers (good selection) and an overall very pleasing experience.

I’ve been visiting Gravel Bottom Brewery ever since opening their doors in 2013. I’m proud to say that I am a member of the mug club!! The beer is fantastic! Great selection; I’m totally hooked on the Nooky Pale Ale. Friends have enjoyed the Nitro Oatmeal Stout. They serve tasty flatbread pizza which pairs well with the beer Also, their new taproom has a great Brewery vibe. The bar is especially cool! Beyond the food and drinks, the brewery team is top notch! I’ve had a chance to get to know Matt (the owner), Jeff and Nick. They really know their stuff and are very passionate about creating a great brew All thumbs up!! You should go to Ada and experience this great brewery.
