I visited this little gem in the heart of downtown Kennebunkport I can't say enough good things about this shop. I was greeted by happy smiling faces the minute I walked in the door. The owners Nick and Deb we're so welcoming. They had wonderful suggestions on balsamics and oils to try and pair together. I also got some great ideas for recipes! They have some amazing gift baskets and beautiful gifts as well. I highly recommend this be one of your stops in this beautiful little town.

I, and my dogs, just love this place. Scalawags carries so many unique gifts for pets and their people. Everything they sell is great quality and they display it beautifully. They have a lot of great toys, beautiful leashes and collars, treats, and a big selection of clothes for those who like to dress up their dogs. The staff is also very knowledgeable. Even if you thought you had it all, you'll find something here your pet just has to have!

Among a busy street full of typical tourist shops brimming with stuff you don’t need, this store stands out as a breath of fresh air. Literally, it provides a welcome sense of calm, and oxygen from the many houseplants artfully placed throughout the tiny but thoughtfully arranged shop. The owners are local artists and interior designers themselves. The shop has a variety of beautifully curated and subtlely matching home decor items such as pottery, air plants, artwork, candles, and home fragrances. They also have stylish personal items such as purses and totes, all hand made and local. A lot of the items are nature inspired and hand made - I bought several small pots and airplants in canvas pouches as gifts. Very reasonably priced (vs other design stores and Etsy) and more beautiful than stuff you’d find on Amazon. The staff was helpful in providing advice for keeping the airplants alive and styling tips for the home items. Would definitely recommend this place!

The owners are wonderful people, they share their story and give you history of the area. Their store is a gem, truly one of a kind. The gifts are all first class, the choices are fantastic, the uniqueness of their shop is so special to New England and Maine. Highly recommend a trip to this establishment

I visited this shop December 23rd and 24th. Each time I was impressed by the salesman working. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. I purchased orange creams and they were delicious. I love chocolate and will definitely return here. I highly recommend this candy store both for the atmosphere and the quality!
