CLIMB Works - Keana Farms

CLIMB Works Keana Farms Zipline Tour takes participants soaring over a working agricultural farm. The tour consists of eight world class dual ziplines, two rapels, four sky bridges and few other surprises making it the longest and most unique zipline on Oahu. Lines average over 1,000 feet including one that is nearly a half mile long. The 3-hour guided tour also includes a fun ATV adventure to the ridge top, stories of Hawaii's rich history, tastes of some of the local fruits and constant panoramic ocean and mountain views of Oahu's famous North Shore.

Reviewed By BirdBear - Calgary, Canada

The 3-hour zip line tour was amazing! The tour guides were great. The lines are organized so that you gradually challenge yourself with heights and lengths of line. Take your camera!! We were told to leave them but the Tour Guides taking pictures don't always get a good one of you. If you have a good tight fitting secured fanny pack your phone/camera should be fine. 8 zip lines later! And great farm grown snacks. A little pricey but worth it! Amazing views! Would have been even better with more local knowledge; but all in all, it was great! Enjoy! Buy a T-shirt!

Sharks Cove

Reviewed By WorldTravelers34 - Chicago

Our private tour guide brought us here and told us some detailed info about Sharks Cove and the Pupukea area. Sharks Cove has been rated by Scuba Diving Magazine as one of the "Top Twelve Shore Dives in the World". Located on Oahu's North Shore, this small rocky bay forms part of Pupukea Beach Park and boasts blue water and an impressive amount of sea life. The bottom is made up of large smooth boulders and coral heads forming small caves and ledges for marine life to hide. The walls of the surrounding cliffs provide calmer water attracting schooling surface fish.

Notes:

Make sure to bring water shoes or your feet will get cut up on the rocks/reef

There are tons of fish and most of the cove is pretty shallow, so you can walk around and just stick your face in to see the sea life. But be careful!!! There's tons of sea urchins in literally every crevice and they can be spiky.

Ha--Breath of Life was the perfect culmination to an amazing day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. After the luau we walked to the theatre--the audience is in a covered area but the stage is open air. We had great seats-- being able to see the facial expressions of those on stage. The program you are given when entering explains the storyline of the production; but even if you haven't read it, you can easily follow the story. No photos or recording are allowed. The production is extremely well done--storyline, acting, and especially the dancing. The fire dance at the end was superb--absolutely amazing!! Afterwards, you can go meet and talk with the performers on the part of the stage closest to the seating.

HeLe HuLi Adventure Center

The lush jungles and sandy beaches of Oahu’s North shore have brought awe and wonder to visitors for centuries. We wanted to inspire and preserve those feelings of awe and spark a sense of adventure in others, so we started North Shore Explorers. We launched it back in 2009 with Hele Huli Adventure Rentals at Turtle Bay Resort, and ever since then have set up thousands of first time thrill seekers and experienced enthusiasts on adventures of their own. We’re focused on giving individuals and families the ability to jumpstart their Hawaiian adventure and create their own personal experiences. We do this by constantly looking for ways to mix touches of Hawaiian Culture with the changing trends of the modern world. Whether it’s on bikes, paddleboards, Segways or mopeds, the North Shore Explorers will provide you with a one-of-a-kind opportunities to see Oahu like you’ve never seen it before.

We have been on many segway tours around the USA and Europe, and our off-road segway tour at Turtle Bay was one of the best. The off-road segways are easy and fun to drive. Eric was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who passionately shared information about the Hawaiian culture, landscape, history, and more. He helped us spot whales jumping out in the ocean, took us to the overgrown runway of the WWII airfield that first reported the incoming attack on Pearl Harbor, and shared local folklore. This tour is a must do!
