We walked to Greenfield Beach from Chinamens Beach, a wonderful well defined path through bushland with great coastal and water views. Facilities at Greenfield are well maintained, toilets and picnic area. The beach, mid week in November, is uncrowded, water is clear, sand is clean and plentiful, as was available parking. A beautiful part of NSW south coast.

Blenheim Beach is a short beach that forms part of the famous White Sands Walk in Jervis Bay National Park. It is surrounded by dense sloping bushland giving the true bush-to-beach experience. It is known as having some of the best snorkelling in the bay with an abundance of marine life.

This is a glorious part of the world.. with a council that provides well maintained bushwalking paths, toilet facilities, picnic facilities and parking. Beautiful beaches too

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Great beers, food from onsite food truck was perfect with the beers and this place has a great atmosphere.

Hyams beach is a long beach with spectacular white sand located in Jervis Bay. The best way to get there is to take the White Sands Walk from Greenfield Beach or Vincentia, that way you get to enjoy more than one of Jervis Bay’s spectacular white sand beaches.

The beach is beautiful. I can't get enough of it! There are public toilets at the car park. Car park spaces are very limited, so best to get there early.

This is a beautiful walk that gives you a taste of the magic of Jervis Bay. You pass through bush land, around coastal headland, and along white sandy beaches. Takes about an hour ambling slowly with children. Plenty of places to stop and rest for toddlers. You finish up at the Hyams Beach Cafe which is a great pit stop for a cool drink or yummy lunch before you head back. Walk can be extended at either end to make it longer by adding Plantation Point at Vincentia end or Hyams Beach walk at other end. A fab idea for a windy or cold day if you’re in Jervis Bay with kids

Nelson is one of the quieter beaches in Jervis Bay. It has spectacular white sand and often has enough room to spread out with the family, as well as gentle waves for swimming and paddling. The beach runs from Plantation Point reserve in the north to Blenheim Beach in the south and forms part of the White Sands Walk which takes you to Hyams Beach.

Nelson Beach is along the coast only a few beaches before Hyams. In the Vincentia region. You have a very similar outlook to Hyams. A medium size beach you descend from the road side. Soft white sand, clear blue water. Perfect in the afternoon if you want a little shade. As the beaches aspect means you can get shade and sun. No amenities.

I do a few different things as part of earning a crust and one of those roles took me to Jervis Bay and Hyams beach for a week. Not the first time here, in fact I've been to Hymans beach and the bay a number of times, even parachuted into it, and every time, it is beautiful! Located about two and a bit leisurly hours drive south from Sydney, Hymans beach is one of a number of beaches on Jervis Bay and yet is the quietest and most beautiful large beach on the bay. Belive all you read about it in other reviews. The sand is strikingly white and squeaky, the waters are crystal clear and you will often see dolphins around. I have seen those, Port Jackson sharks and numerous stingrays. At one time we found ourselves on the water in the middle of a pod of dolphins, some within reach from our small boat. Fantastic!! At the north end of the beach is the village of Hyams Beach, with limited accomodation and facilities, mostly being B&B type and a small store cum cafe. Major accomodation, including small hotel/motel and caravan campsites can be found in the numerous other villages and towns around the bay. I didn't stay in any of these as my "employer" has thier own facility on the bay As far as I know, there's no camping on the beach and check the local rules regarding fires, especially in Summer. Oh, and always take your rubbish with you. Shouldn't have to say that, but..... At the south end of the beach is some government land and although you can go right up to the edge of it, don't go in. If you're in a boat, there are special waters marking bouys and beyond those is a no-go zone. Don't go past those either. Disabled access is exactly what you'd expect at a normal beach so you will be limited in that respect, without special equipment. Beach access is free, as it should be. If you are down this way or want to experience superbly clear waters and white sands withoiut the expense of a trip north, this is it. Did we help you organise a great trip?
