In addition to decor that will captivate your interests and the skeletons on display, the place entirely reflects and reveals a different time place culture and life once lived- for the Lord. Every one should visit this place. It is unique from all the sites I've seen and one to remember!

The Good Samaritan Museum

The museum offers archeological remains, including magnificent mosaics from the Byzantine period, an ancient building and church and a courtyard displaying a variety of archeological findings. One of the museum’s wings is dedicated to the story, history and customs of the Samaritan community. We recommend rounding up your visit at the Moshe Castel Museum of Art in Ma’ale Adummim. The entrance to the Martyrius and Euthymius sites is for groups only, by prior arrangement.

I am so glad we visited the Samaritan Inn. It’s a treasure trove of beautiful mosaics garnered from Synagogues and Churches all over ISRAEL. One can only gaze in awestruck sober at the artistry of the intricate mosaics. It is also worth noting the dedication of the restoration work. The ancient cave o the property is converted into a wee cinema and the film on the Good Samaritan is worth viewing. All in all it was worth the hours we spent there. It is quite easy to see most of the mosaics even if you have difficulty walking.

The ticket seller was apologetic that the construction under way to display mosaics and other features at the site is not yet complete, but there is still enough to see of the courtyard and buildings of this early Islamic palace, misnamed Hisham's palace for reasons I forget. An easy side visit if in Jericho for the archaeological site of Tell es Sultan and easy to reach from the main valley road up the West Bank.
