This is a great place to visit and is popular with locals. There are several interesting restaurants where you can dine and enjoy the view of the bay. However, the beach adjacent to the attraction is filthy and strewn with trash and not worth a visit.

Sunset Road really is many kilometers of beautiful road, the highlights being Futamigaura, Nogita and Keya, but there are so many nooks and crannies to investigate, If you like riding then this is a beautiful road. Futamigaura parking spot is great for a coffee and public conveniences.

Built around 1800 years ago, this beautiful temple on the mountainside has great character, you can pay Yen400 and walk around inside and see the 1000 statues on the way up to a stunning Buddha with many hands..or wander around freely in the outside areas.

Having ben to Iceland, I may have been spoilt with spectacular Waterfalls, but I did not find this one very inspiring. There is a fairly nice view, and there are interesting sites nearby, such as Sakurai Futamigaura and a Shinto shrine, so a trip out to this area probably is worthwhile, but not just for this quite small waterfall. in my humble opinion.

Located in the hill and a little far from the Fukuoka City. Rent car is the best choice because almost no public transport reaches there. It's beautiful in the sakura season and many families go there to enjoy the flowers. Free of charge.

At the far end of Kafuri port is Kafuri beach, a small 400 metre beach that can be pretty depending on what the tide deposits on it. The oyster reviews refer to the opposite end of the port where there are oyster huts.
I walk the beach daily with my dog as many others do and the variety of sea shells and sea glass might be interesting for some. this small beach is great for paddling and even swimming as usually the waves are very small. This beach is also a great place to take a sunset shot.

瑞梅寺ダムの上流にある井原山登山口からアンの滝→井原山山頂→縦走路→雷山山頂→上宮→清賀滝→千如寺→井原山登山口の巡回コースがあります。約7時間のかかりますが、両山の山頂からの景色(福岡、佐賀県境の山々)と玄界灘の景色が素晴らしい。また5月の連休頃にはミツバツツジがきれいに咲きます。
