Explore the Istian river and the Maderas volcano shores in Ometepe island in individual or two people kayak. Nature, wild life, and community scene wait for you. First, you will paddle for 45 minutes in the open lake, enjoying the views and the breeze. Then, you will slow paddle in the river for around 1:30 hours, watching birds, turtles, and (if lucky) some alligators. Finally, return to the Caballito's. You can skip the open lake kayaking asking for a boat to get you to the river mouth, and then back to the Caballito's place.
