Visited the chocolate factory in St Laurent du Pont. It’s not easy to find but you see how the chocolates are made by hand and while the emphasis is on Chatreuse flavours they actually have a generous variety. Predictably ended up spending more than I intended to but these chocolates are yummy! Note this is a chocolate workshop so no tables. You can also buy these chocolates elsewhere in this region.

Our cheese shop has been established in Grenoble for more than 30 years. The director Bernard Mure-Ravaud is "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" and World Champion (he won the Caseus Award in 2007). He also had 2 records in the Guinness Book for the Largest cheese platter in the World ! We have more than 200 cheeses to recommand, 10 different raclette cheeses, some rare products, and we can also make cheese platters on order... Do not hesitate to come and visit !
