Located inside the Charles City Public Library is The Mooney Art Collection. It reflects both Arthur Mooney's love of art and of the community where he grew up. The collection features the works of classical artists such as Dali (seen on the left), Picasso, Rembrandt and Goya.The Mooney Art Collection is open for public viewing whenever the library is open.

Come in and relax with some friends, a glass of wine (or beer) and some music while creating your own masterpiece. No experience necessary just bring your smile and get ready to have some fun! We provide the aprons, brushes, paint and canvases and you leave with a finished painting to be proud of after two hours of fun!!

The mission of our gallery is to offer high quality handmade items at affordable prices. Knowing all of our artists personally enables us to accurately describe their processes and products. We are closed on Sundays Jan-May.
