The trail corridor traverses three counties (Citrus, Hernando and Pasco), offering an enjoyable, varied journey as it runs through small towns, ranches and six distinct natural communities between Citrus Springs and Dade City. Officially designated as part of the Florida Greenways and Trail System, this State Trail is also a National Recreation Trail® which offers rich opportunities for viewing plants & wildlife and provides access to many other outstanding recreational opportunities.

The 46-mile Withlacoochee State Trail is a great place to ride. The surface is asphalt paved and the trail winds through or near several small towns as well as through the City of Inverness. Much of the trail is through forest with a lovely, shady canopy.

Under new Ownership, GREAT food, open late (10pm), Fantastic surroundings, darts, pool and "afternoon specials" for the golfers! It's cheaper to eat out here in the day time than stay at home!
