If you want to escape from the city, Maschwitz Market is a good program 50km away BsAs downtown.
It is a shopping area with restaurants and shops (antiques, galeries and clothes). The building was made of recycled materials that pretend to be an old style neighborhood.
Some restaurant options (parrilla, italian, arabian, veggie) and cafés. Do not expect so much, but if you want to do something different it worths it.

What fun for kids and adults! Thrills galore, friendly and competent staff, and not too expensive if you come from abroad. Very effective crowd management: the circuits were never crowded even though it was midterm vacation time for schools. Equipment in great condition, pretty decent food at the concession. Highly recommended. Keep in mind that kids under 1.25m won't be able to use the fun circuits.

This museum used to be a fancy hotel, way back when immigrants from various nationalities (British, French, Italian, German, Swiss...) had their rowing clubs in the neighbourhood. Then, after the second World War, the area become less frequented (or fashionable, I should say) and the hotel became less used until it was abandoned (literally). Now recovered and refurbished as a museum, it has become a nice place to visit. The surrounding area is also quite unique, with the Lujan River as background: numerous cafés, bars, and BBQ restaurants. Nice place to go for a stroll.

Freddo there does not of offer all of its flavored: a real pity. And the waitresses at the Jumbo place to have breakfast are too slow at the cashier. Dogs are not allowed unless carried in your arms, and cars rush down the parking streets as if they were highways.

Pequena Holanda

Voleveremos!

Visited with my 18 yr old grandson. The only disadvantage is that there are no explanations in English. I was told there was an English speaking translator/guide on the weekends in the afternoon.
Exhibits are varied and quite well laid out. By Argentine standards, it is very well done. Clean and well lit. The exhibition continues outside.
Will definitely return with my father (who speaks Spanish) and my English-only speaking husband.
Entrance was Ten pesos.
