Stopped here while passing through Independence, Missouri. Found the collection of documents and objects from the life of President Truman to be truly outstanding, giving great insights into every phase of his life. His tomb is also on site in the building's courtyard. Highly recommend spending a couple hours here for anyone interested in American history.

We are open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weather permitting, through December 31. We tour Frontier Independence where three trails began, two Civil War battles were fought and one President began his march to the White House. We give tours from single parties to tour buses filling a wagon train of covered wagons. Add the finishing touch to a perfect wedding with an intimate wedding adventure ride.

The home is beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the home's working piano and organ were heard playing as we toured the home. Ben was a wonderful tour guide, especially for the children in the group, and answered all our questions with equal enthusiasm.

Museum specializing in information about the historic trails that pioneers took westward.
Great small museum telling the history of the Lewis and Clark expedition as well as the Oregon, California, Santa Fe and Mormon Trails. Good informative video in the beginning to give context, followed by exhibits on each of the major frontier trails and their role in American history. Lots of period artifacts as well as maps and photographs to put everything in perspective. Highly recommend for anyone interested in American History.

The historical sites. The square is looking good much better than the run down look it previously had going on. There is a lot of history here and needs preserved.

The station has been restored beautifully and is packed with artifacts. Our tour guide is a train-lover and a wealth of information about trains and train history in general as well as the specific history of this station.

The Silverstein Eye Centers Arena is a mid-size arena located just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City. The venue opened in 2009 and has since become a premier destination for live entertainment and sports. The arena is currently home to two professional sports teams. The Missouri Mavericks, members of the ECHL and Kansas City's only pro hockey club. Also the Missouri Comets, members of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) and Kansas City's only pro indoor soccer club. Artists such as Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Alan Jackson, Chris Tomlin, Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Hillsong, The Fray, Chris Young, Lee Brice and many more have performed at the IEC! Located right next to the arena is the Centerpoint Community Ice Rink. This is one of the finest ice skating facilities in the Midwest offering year-round ice sports training, recreational youth/adult hockey leagues, figure skating, learn-to-skate classes and much more!
We attended a Mavericks hockey game over the weekend. The venue is clean and easy to find your way around. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There are family restrooms near every main restroom which is helpful when attending an event with small children. I would recommend this venue. The parking was free and very easy to get in and out of as well.

Very nice and inviting visitor center. A lot of interactive exhibits that were fun for the kids and very informative of the early days of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There we plenty of kind people there to help answer questions. I would recommend a visit.
