January 1, 2018 Marissa Gamble

Hove /hoʊv/ is a town in East Sussex, England, immediately west of its larger neighbour Brighton, with which it forms the unitary authority Brighton and Hove. It forms a single conurbation with Brighton and some smaller towns and villages running along the coast. As part of local government reform, Brighton and Hove were merged, to form the borough of Brighton and Hove in 1997. In 2001, the new borough officially attained city status.

Hove Park

A really nice place for everyone and of all ages including young children. A small cafe is located inside the park. There are several food options within 5 minutes in the adjacent shopping complex. Bus options as well as parking options are available. During spring to Autumn, you can experience the cute Hove Park railway at a very small fee.
The children’s play areas are well equipped and reasonably well maintained.

A relatively new addition to the cultural landscape in Brighton.
Saw a couple of shows here last year with friends and a picnic.
Great acting in the plays we saw and no sound from the road as I had feared.
Can't wait to see what's on the bill this year.

My daughter booked the treatment for me as a treat when I was recovering from surgery. The ladies in the shop made us very welcome and were friendly and chatty. The treatment was lovely and great attention to detail was paid when my toenails were painted. We were offered drinks and there was a good choice of soft drinks/tea and coffee. We are going back this week for a manicure!
