Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center

The Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center is ranked the #1 tennis resort in the Carolinas by Tennis Magazine and is currently ranked in the top 25 in the world by Tennis Resorts Online. Featuring 21 (four courts are lighted for night play) clay tennis courts and 16 pickleball courts (all lighted for night play), the Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball center is open year round and the staff consists of the area's top pros who offer lessons and clinics to those of all ages and skill levels. Enjoy seasonal activities and the island's largest tennis pro shop at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center.

Other reviews have described how good the lessons, clinics, and round robins are. What hit me was the totality: Palmetto Dunes has everything you could want for pickleball. 24 courts, lights, top players to watch, beginner clinics, huge baskets of balls, a stocked pro shop. (You do not need to stay at Palmetto Dunes to take advantage of any of these offerings, though PD has gorgeous accommodations.) We had clinics and lessons with Jamie, Sarah Mitten, Sarah Ansboury and Noah, and loved every moment of them. Lots of 4.5 players and lots of 3.0 players so something for everyone. Using our past travels to tennis resorts as a guide, I don’t believe there is anything Palmetto Dunes needs to add. For me, it is the top pickleball center in the US. We will be back next year for sure.

Priests are the best, good sermons with message you can take home. Just to hear the organist is worth the trip. Warm, welcoming, spiritual, peaceful. Can really encounter the Lord here. Wish we were here year round. Daily Masses are very special, too.

My favorite thing to do in Sea Pines, where is do vacation rentals, is to ride bikes, walk or run the trail system. They are well maintained, well marked and long enough to satisfy any level of exercise ability. A great way to spend time with friends and family.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve

Walk through mushy swamps on elevated boardwalks at this 400-acre nature preserve.

Reviewed By VerdiA - Duluth, United States

Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a great family outing, it has terrific and extensive bike trails, beaches, rental homes, and great places to eat as well as sights to see. There is a fee to enter but I understand it is for the upkeep and reforestation project. You can rent bikes and have them deliver them to your rental, beach and umbrella rental as well. You can also ride your bike on the beach. The pristine forest is well maintained and kept.
