4X Adventureland

4X Adventureland was known as Putt-R-Golf since the 1960s, was under the ownership of Bernard and Linda DeVuyst for most of the last 30 years, and came back under the DeVuyst family ownership in 2014. Scott, Kitty, and Shelby DeVuyst came in swinging in the spring of 2014 with countless improvements and additions! The goal then, and still today, being to accomplish a fresh & updated feel to some of the classic past times that generation after generation can enjoy! With the addition of Michigan State University Dairy Store Ice Cream, a 24’ Rock Climbing Wall, Outdoor Laser Tag, and a High Tech Shooting System, as well as updates to the go-karts, batting cages, putt-putt course, & arcade games- we are ready to make your summer ROCK!

We love this fun course. We take our guests there a couple of times a year. The new owners are working on it all the time to keep it nice. Friendly people. Other things to do, kids love the cards and climbing wall and batting cages.

Snow Snake Ski & Golf

I started skiing here in 1969. From the tow ropes, to the T-bars to the chair-lifts it is always fun and entertaining. My kids grew up at this place. Mrs.B. kept us in line and my mom would sure back her! If you don't feel like skiing or tubing, you can sit at the bar and watch while ordering a bite to eat. As I said, we are lucky to have a place like this in our beautiful winter wonderland.

Hidden Hill Family Campground

Reviewed By MrsB0wman - Green Cove Springs, United States

We stayed overnight at Hidden Hill Family Campground. It’s easy on and off the highway. We had a little trouble figuring out the entrance which is shared with Burger King. Our fault - the signage is actually good if you follow it (duh). The campground is in a rustic wooded setting with plenty of shade and quiet. The roads are well maintained gravel and are wide and level. No problems navigating with our 40’ MH. We were led to our site. Sites are generous with mature shade trees. We had a pull-through with a gravel landing pad. It was level, and long enough for our coach and car. Good internet and T-Mobile service. We would stay here again if in the area.

Tamaracks Golf Course

WELCOME TO THE TAMARACKS! The Hawkins Family opened the original 9 hole golf course in May 1981 with Stephen Hawkins as architect. As we begin our 40th season The Tamaracks is still owned and maintained by both The Hawkins and Ashcrafts families. The 1991 expansion to 18 holes brought with it more woods and water. The par 71, 18 hole layout measures just under 6,000 yards, but with trees lining every fairway and water on half of the holes, it does not play that easy! A true shot makers course, every tee shot is important to the score on the card, however errant shots can be rescued from the park like condition of the areas beyond the fairways. The greens range from small to large and reflect the difficulty of each hole. Always in great shape, The Tamaracks gives a country club feel however “We’re not the Country Club, Just a GREAT club in the Country”. GREAT GOLF! GREAT VALUE!
