Harmony Visitor Center

While in Harmony, don't miss a stop at the beautiful Harmony Visitors Center. Almost a museum, there are displays of fossils, artifacts, Karst geography, and sink holes. Besides the usual brochures and maps, you can enjoy a DVD of the Emmy Award winning documentary, "Mysteries of the Driftless". Ask to see the fossil of the squid tentacle!

Harmony Spirits

Artfully distilled, our spirits are handcrafted in Harmony, Minn., in small batches using locally sourced grains. Our products are full circle from grain to glass. The grain we use to craft our spirits travels only a few miles to the distillery and the spent distillers grains return to the farm as cattle feed, completing the circle. Put some “Harmony” in your glass and enjoy.

Niagara Cave

Reviewed By workhardplayhard27 - Mantorville, United States

This is a very enjoyable experience. The group that'll runs this cave put a lot of work into keeping the whole facility in great shape. The cave discovery and formation stories are quite interesting...I will not spoil them here. The underground water flow that continues to shape this cave is the star of the show with its waterfalls. There are a number of unique formations, numerous fossils captured/exposed in the rock, and several "rooms" in which the ceiling is over 100 feet over your head. It is a beautiful and interesting cave...well worth a visit. The tour checks in at just a little over a mile. There are strenuous aspects to the tour, so if you have health limitations you may want to rethink your visit. There are roughly 550 stairway steps included in the tour. Most of the steps are in smaller manageable groups, but there is a set of 20-25 right at the end that would be a challenge to anyone with health issues. To their credit, the tour guides will stop to allow guests to recover from harder climbs. This facility also includes a really nice gift shop, a well-kept mini golf course (in a lovely wooded/shaded area), a couple of picnic areas, and a playlet for small kids. With a little planning you could certainly make a very nice day trip and enjoy all that this facility has to offer. You will want to check on their current COVID regulations. Currently they are not allowed to mix groups for tours. The cost (with taxes) is roughly $180 per tour and up to 9 people can be in the tour. Once the regulations allow, you will only need to pay individual entrance fees.
