Experience the Carpathian wilderness, and see wild brown bears in their natural habitat from the security of one of the many wildlife hides operating in the area. Your guide, an experienced local ranger, will take you with his 4wd car deep into the forests of the Eastern Carpathians, which has one of the largest population concentrations of brown bears in the Carpathian Mountains. Follows an easy to moderate 500m walk from the car to a specially-designed observation hide where you will wait quietly for wildlife. The private experience will last about 4 hours.

One of the castle is not even Dracula’s castle! They have just made it up for marketing reasons! This info is only shared after arriving and having spent 4 hours on the road and 80 eur/person . There are only photographs on the wall of the Dracula of the cinema! The guide was good over trying to sell the tour and the bukarest beauty that are non existing!

6. From Brasov: Safari adventure in the Land of Volcanoes

NeoTour Brasov

In the morning, your English speaking guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov. After a one hour drive, you will reach the city of Tusnad Bai, the smallest city in Romania, famous for its thermal baths and mineral water springs. Here, depending on group size, you will embark in 4WD vehicles or in a multi-seated trailer and start the adventure. You will be taken in the surroundings, where you will visit an old abandoned water dam, some mineral water springs, machine gun nests and trenches from World War II and, depending on weather conditions, those with a good fitness level can choose to climb up to the Falcon's Rock, for a fantastic view over the valley. You will then go deep in the forest to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch, made from local products, accompanied by the famous palinka drink.
