visit Dambulla was designated a World Heritage site in 1991. The caves have a mixture of religious and secular painting and sculpture. Climb a rock - if you’re in good shape and don’t stop to look at things, it’ll take you less than 30 minutes to climb all the way to the top of the rock. If you need a few breaks along the way or simply want to stop often to take photos and admire the view, it’ll take an hour and a half to two hours to climb up and go back down again.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely polite and friendly and I just want to say that, in addition to awesome food, we had a delightful waiter, “Dhanushka”. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and made certain that we had everything we needed.

While Sigiriya Rock is rich in history and has some pretty dramatic features such as the lion’s paw and the mirror wall, Pidurangala Rock has a much more natural feel, despite also housing a temple. Pidurangala Rock is adjacent to Sigiriya Rock and is the best viewing spot of Sigiriya Rock as it is only slightly lower. Pidurangala is a popular spot for sunrise as you can enjoy 360-degree views of not only the valleys but also Sigiriya Rock.

As someone traveling to Sri Lanka and wanting to find a driver beforehand, the task is not easy. I spent hours reading reviews and searching for a driver: taking into account price, reviews, information available etc. And luckily i found Manju and The Visit Lanka Tours ! From first emails 4months before the journey, Manju replied fast, gave good information, helpped us to plan itineray and gave all information wanted. We had a bit of customized tour and booked our own hotels but with help from Manju all plans where set in good time before arriving to Sri Lanka. We had 2 of Manjus drivers under our trip, both excellent drivers, had good english, told about sri lanka and sights but also let us be quiet/sleep when wanted during drive. Drivers asked/proposed sights and places to see But never forced nor kept on proposing to go somewhere if we did not want. And most important, we felt really safe under all of our journey ! Drivers informer where to go, where to meet, what to avoid etc to be safe and to be able to see some sites individually (driver waited at exits / parking lots). Selecting Manju was one of the best decissions we took for our wonderfull trip to Sri Lanka (loved the country, and by Manjus help, we got a lot out of our travels). Thanks a lot Manju to you and your drivers ! Can only recommend Manju for anyone wanting to visit Sri Lanka on longer or shorter trip !

Yes, so we decide to visit Srilanka for our honeymoon. We met Rachita at airport for the first time after so many discussions on mail and WhatsApp. Rachi has he fondly called had given us a exceptional welcome. Our tour to Wilpattu National Park was well organised. Our driver and tour gide was very professional and friendly - it was a real plasure to meet him. We were lucky to see many wild animals including leopard. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book for a one day tour of Sri Lanka and very reasonably priced.

We came a couple, Bandu met us at the airport and drop us to the hotel because it was late night. Next morning he picked us up and we started the 6 days journey from the Sirigiya city down to Marissa. He tour guide is very helpful, friendl and funny. He has good knowledge of all the country in which I was surprised. He also gets you to best locations and helps you to save a lots of money by not letting other cheat you. This was our 1st time in sri lanka but surely not last.

This was amazing! Our guides were awesome! Travelling around Colombo quickly and efficiently, seeing all the sites close up, with photo stops anytime you wanted! We visited Hindu temples and Buddhist temples with complete explanations by our guides. We stopped at two local shops for authentic souvenirs, and then went for lunch for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The tour was advertised to be 3-4 hours, but ours was 5+ hours!

Thanks to Leisure World Tours' chauffeur/tour guide Lal, my family and I had an unforgettable 11 day trip to Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Trinco, and Arugam Bay. It was a pleasure from the moment he picked us up until the moment he dropped us back home. When there was a problem or a moment of stress, he helped us sort it out immediately, and kindly helped me out. His main concern was that we have no stress and enjoy the trip. We saw so many beautiful, historical and special sites and buildings, and learned so much about Sri Lanka from our guide, it made me learn to appreciate the country all over again.
