Due to heavy congestion on the motorway, decided to take a detour and buy our cheese fondue in Hoofddorp. Found Deli K's through Google and wow, these guys are very passionate about cheese! Not only was my fondue great, the service is here is beyond limits! Very much worth my detour, I can highly recommend this shop!

Coffeeshop SuperFly in Hoofddorp is the number one coffeeshop in the Amsterdam, Schiphol-Airport area, located in Hoofddorp at only 10-15 minutes by bus, train or (Uber) Taxi from Schiphol Airport. We had over 7hrs to kill before our flight so scoured the airport for things to do, we stumbled upon the Panorama Terrace. It was brilliant a huge space that even had an empty disused aircraft for you to board and look around. It was very windy and cold there but would imagine in the summer would be a lovely place to sit and watch the daily goings on of the airport. They are doing works to this area and when these are complete the place will be a great place to visit. They are building a new bar and restaurant which will be a great place to chill in the summer. There are picnic tables and seating areas so you can bring your own food or takeaway food from the airport outlets. I wish we still had something like this at our local airport in the UK, its great place to kill time.

The weekly market of Hoofddorp is a lively place! Each friday from 8.30 to 16.30 hour more then 100 kinds of market shops are set on the Plaza of Burgemeester van Stamplein. Parking is easy underneith the Plaza.
