It is the second most populous city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, the 13th most populous city in Brazil, and is also the most populous city in the country that is not a state capital. In the last few years it has outgrown Campinas. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 1,324,781 (2015 est.) in an area of 318.68 km². It is the most populous non-capital city in the country and has the second-largest GDP in the state, the 8th largest in the country.

Nice trip to the country side close by São Paulo - the so called "little" Switzerland gives you the opportunity to forget the big city and relax with a nice view on approx. 2'000 meters above sea level. Our driver Luciano did a good job explaining in English, what the history of São Paulo is about and brought us safely back to out hotel (after almost 12 hours on the road:)).

Taxis have the benefit of traveling on special bus lanes, thus saving time in traffic from Sao Paulo.

My family and I had a long trip from Australia to Sao Paulo and used Taxi Guarulhos that was recommended by a friend who lives there and it was perfect for us as they can travel quickly on the bus line and we didn't have to waste time on traffic. Apart from that if you want to have a reliable service and support a local and family business do not hesitate in using Taxi Guarulhos as I can assure you they are great people. I am using then now for all my trips and will recommend it to all my friends.

The best way to know Sao Paulo. half a meter and half a car. Sao Paulo's metro is extremely modern and safe and takes us to the central part of the city. already by car, we go to the points where the subway does not take us and we go in a new, safe and comfortable car.

We had two private tour with Danilo on December 26th and 27th of 2019. Let me just say that you are NOT going to find a better person to be your guide in São Paulo. He was born and raised in beautiful São Paulo and knows it by heart. We toured the city by subway and by car. The subway tour was amazing. We felt like locals and enjoyed almost every corner of this huge and vibrant city! He knows the history of his city and Brazil and explained everything to us in a really fun way! We definitely recommend Danilo to everyone who’s interested in visiting São Paulo. What we loved about Danilo is that he tailored the tours to our interests and likes. He was able to suggest ideas and restaurants that were really awesome! We tried some local treats and enjoyed some excellent desserts and coffee! If we ever find ourselves back in São Paulo (which is now one of our favorite cities) we will be calling Danilo to go on more tours! Thank you, Danilo for the beautiful times and memories!!

We had several hours to kill at the airport before our connnecting flight. Our guide picked us up at the airport. His English was very good. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed all of the interesting details he gave us of the history of the city. We were a little nervous about getting in a car with a complete stranger, but after we met him we felt completely at ease.

Due to COVID-19 all big tour companies were closed. Private tours are still possible, although all tourist sites are closed, only outside views. This company and their guide Adi indeed were of a great help. In 3 hours we managed to see all major São Paulo sites with good explanations and comments. The company and the guide are recommended for long and short tours and general support while you are in São Paulo. Many thanks.
