The parque maia is a new shooping mall (2015). After or during the Shopping you can relax and enjoy in one of the western Restaurants (Starbucks, McDonald, Burger King, Subway, etc.). In comparison to the International Shopping mall the Shops are looking more exclusive.

This is the only really mandatory turistic place in santos city.
To go to a beach city and don't go to the beach is just insane, it's not the best beach in the region but for sure the best beach walk you can have around, a must see if you are around

Chanced upon hearing mass this Sunday ...Feast of the Assumption. Although mass was said in Portuguese it was nice to note how traditional and solemn the service was. The church was kept in a good condition too.

E uma das vistas mais bonitas da Serra da Mantiqueira, muitas montanhas verdes e pouquíssimas casas. Dependendo do tempo e possível ver Campos de Jordão. A subida e de nível médio para quem tem condicionamento físico. Aconselho a contratar um guia. E bom levar água e usar um bom tenis

Stupidly inflated 'duty free' prices, they catch you. Set aside a day to do all your shopping at a local grocery store before departing. Eg. You can buy havaianas at any grocery or corner shop for half the airport price, same applies to caçasa, t-shirts, or anything Brazilian branded. They accept both $'s and R$'s.

Desde finales de Octubre el parque esta temporariamente cerrado. Esto obedece a la aparicion de macacos muertos por fiebre amarilla. Informarse antes de visitar el lugar, quizas mas adelante sea abierto.

We as a family from South Africa were horrified at the conditions the animals were kept in. We knew that the animals would be in small enclosures , but never expected it to be so bad. Some animal were mentally ill and self-mutilated. The jaguar was extremely agitated and ran about his cage and even growled at the people. Here is an opportunity for the Zoo to greatly improve on the way they keep their animals.

Me lembro quando o museu de ciências ainda era no Lago dos Patos, acredito que seja o mesmo acervo, não mudou muito além da localização, mas é bem organizado. Interessante para as crianças ou quem nunca viu esse tipo de exposição. O bom é que além de ser gratuito está no zoológico, que é mais uma atração no passeio.
