I come here with a friend and underwent "des seances of treatment " in this Thermes. Situated in Haute Provence France. This Thermes is an ideal place for those who look for pamperings. The quality of treatments are professionally performed, I feel fit and well . The town where this Thermes is situated " Greoux les Bains" is small and has this " Provence atmosphere " My 3 weeks sejour here seems to pass ever so quickly...morning spa at the Thermes, lunch in various restaurants, stroll around this French town and in the evening there are lots of activities, Concerts in the church, some open air Performances, galleries of paintings etc....If you are looking for long quiet holiday I highly recommend this Thermes in Greoux les Bains....And enjoy yourself .....Cheers

I went on a lavender fields hunt just a couple days ago ( last days of June), using this store as a starting place. Leaving from Aix, you'll find Lavande Angelvin almost arriving on Valensole. It's a charming little store, with a nice lavender field, but nothing from another world. Since it is on a place where you'll find the first fields, crowded with tourists. If you want to see the huge purple fields, go to Valensole, and put on your navigator "Puimoisson", using the D56 road. No tourists, and endless fields by yourself ( and the bees, buzzing all the time)! From Puimoisson, take the D953 and the D8 to see some other amazing fields on your way back to Aix (if you're staying there - something that I recommend). End on June / beginning of July was a perfect time for us. Hope this helps!

Our annual visit to Provence to see the grandparents, this time had a little surprise as they brought us to Corbi Park. My two kids super enjoyed -- 6 and 2 years old. Bring swimsuits to fully enjoy the day. Lots of animals to see. Free train and carousel rides -- as much as you want! Super afternoon, totally unexpected it. We plan to visit again before we leave. Great for young kids, I would assume until age 10. Bring towel and swimsuits, plus your own drinks (it can get hot in the summer).

Couleurs Paysannes is the biggest farmers shop in the region. The cooperative is owned by 70 LOCAUL farmers who are selling directly (without middleman) there products. In the shop people can find fruits and veg, all sorts of meat, dairies, cheese, bread, wine, olive oil, honey...And everyday there are at least 5 farmers serving and advise the clients.
All the production from local farmer and producer and many are Bio. Fresh and tasty. You may find fresh alive fish and whole piece of chicken. Good wine and beer. Fresh raw corn on the cob are available. It's a very good shop but maybe little expensive. One chain shop located in down town.

Immerse yourself into the Verdon canyon from your cinema seat! A 3D film on a huge screen for all audiences and with breathtaking images. Secret Verdon introduces us to Hidalgo who, a 100 years later, decides to follow in the footsteps of the first Verdon canyon's explorer, Alfred Martel. A sensuous experience not to be missed when visiting the Verdon canyon

Very enjoyable day. Several categories of electric or manual power boats to rent. We went for electric, great to cruise around the lake stop jump in swim land on a beach eat lunch etc. Seems a bit of a local secret and the drive to the harbor is twisty turns and takes at least 15 minutes. Be patient it is worth it. Parking is a bit of a free for all. We tried to book our boat in advance. Email response was unhelpful and telephone was never picked up despite several attempts. Given the time to drive from Aix this uncertainty has not very satisfactory. Anyway it worked out ok we just had to wait for a boat to return. We had a boat for 3 hours which was enough. The cost of 64€ seemed reasonable to us. Staff good, boats cleaned between sorties, safe equipment. Recommended but company should be clear about booking.

The lake is about 90 km from Marseille. It's got everything for the whole family, children can watch the ducklings in the water, play in the children's area with all kinds of game, father can swim or play the mini golf, mother can prepare picnics on the long bench with seats designed for this purpose, or play the floor bowling called pétanque, teenagers can play badminton or volleyball. On arriving the lake, directly you are in an area of pebble beach under the surveillance of the lifeguards, We walk around the lake in a circle following the forest to reach another 2 Beaches with pebbles and sands, but swimming there is at your own risk as these are not surveillance area. Here you can hire a boat doing some kayaking .We usually bring our own food and drink but for those who don't want to bother, there are snacks kiosks, ice-cream stalls and restaurants .It is not very busy last week as most people go abroad for holiday, But for those who perfer to stay put or for tourists, this is a good place to spend a hot summer day.
