What a great walk, up and down the streets, beautiful architecture, like stepping back in time. The house’s we’re stunning, very worthwhile if one is interested in this period of buildings.

St. David's Park

Almost every day we walked through or around this beautiful park in Hobart. Each week we experienced the trees and flowers blooming. Very well located near Salamanca Square, Parliament House and a five minute walk from downtown Hobart.

Bridge of Remembrance

If you are in the CBD this is good place for a walk. You can start out in town, walk down to Salamanca, then go round past the MACQ01 hotel, walk along the road and then cross over the bridge before reaching the aquatic centre. A nice circuit for lunchtime exercise!

Salamanca Square

Salamanca Square is the cultural, historical hub of Hobart offering dinning, cafe's, entertainment & shopping. Found just behind the Salamanca historical row buildings it's Hobart's best kept secret. A piazza space for relaxing with no cars, it's a sun trap in winter and is open 7 days a week. Parking is available just off the square & underneath. Walkable from the cruise ship terminal

Salamanca Square has a number of eateries and bars to check out if you are in town on a cruise ship or visiting in general
