Grazalema Cycling Adventures

Discovering the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park (Andalucia, Spain) by bike is now a pleasure within reach of everyone and our mission is to make it as nice as possible for you. We are located in the centre of Grazalema, beating heart of the natural park and we have road bikes, mountain bikes and electric hybrid bikes available, all with accessories and helmet included. The bike hire also includes booklets with routes, and as an extra option we offer GPS bike computers with pre-installed routes so you can just follow the route from the screen. If you prefer not having to think about anything, then book a ride with one of our experienced guides, and the only thing you´ll need to do is: enjoy the cycling. And if you are already here with your bike: come and visit us. We have a bunch of the basics in spare parts and accessories that a cyclist might need, and also some sports nutrition in case you need to (re)fuel yourself before, during or after a ride.

Artesania textil de Grazalema

We made a special trip to Grazelema to see the woollen textile factory and goods. We found it and were helped by the receptionist/sales clerk. She was very helpful and very pleasant even though there was a language barrier. Let's face it, women will find a way to communicate especially when it comes to shopping choices. I made a great choice and look forward to wearing my short Cape in the fall/winter in cooler temps. I love that this woollen garment is made here in Grazelema from the growing of the woolly sheep to the manufacturing of the garment. A perfect authentic souvenir from Spain. Note: check for siesta times of closure during the week and weekend closure so you will not be disappointed. If I remember correctly they are closed from 1:30 weekdays (siesta) and reopen later in the day and are closed from 1:30 PM on Fridays through to Monday morning when it reopens. Please check their website to make sure.

Spa Wellness Grazalema

Reviewed By 592jeanned - Worcester, United States

My family spent 4 days in Grazalema last year. While daughter and son-in-law climbed mountains; my sister and I wandered around the town shop and drank coffee in the many cafes. I had had spinal stenosis surgery which left my muscles tense and sore, and me with a residual limp and a twisted gait. I woke up every morning having to force my limbs to move. To kill time, I decided to try Tui Na massage (traditional Chinese massage) at the Wellness Spa a few blocks from our house. I didn't expect much for results since I'm a born skeptic...pessimist. The practitioner, Hernando, speaks only Spanish and I, Brazilian Portuguese, but we could understand each other. I modestly decided to have the back side of me massaged. Hesitantly, I took off all but panties. Oil is used in the massage, so probably keeping on clothing wouldn't be a great idea. Hernando asked how much force I wanted him to use, and because of my spinal surgery, I said nao muito (no mucho). He worked for a solid hour, telling me correctly where my muscular and articulation problems were. I paid a reasonable fee and, feeling not much different, went home to drink a lot of water, as he suggested. I thought...Whatever...it was a good experience, anyway. WELL, I woke up the next morning and got out of bed without a struggle. I WAS SHOCKED! I was so amazed by how good I felt that I made an immediate appointment for that same day to go back and have the front side of me worked on...modestly draped in a (somewhat small) towel. Even more amazing is the fact that the effects of that massage have lasted for months, more than 10 months. I'm only now trying to find a Tu Na practitioner in Massachusetts to relieve stiffness and pain that has crept back, but never as bad as originally.
