Pink Poppies

Pink Poppies Living Creatively began in Nov 2008 with a desire to start a modern contemporary gift store & to create a home of all things unique & beautiful. The store is located in the beautiful country town of Stanthorpe in Queensland, the coldest town in the state where it actually snows some years. The owners Lucille & Michael both have a background in retail and always have customer service at the forefront of their mind.“We wanted to be able to offer a contemporary range of gifts bringing a little bit of the city to the country”. When you walk into the store you feel a sense of excitement to explore the shelves and find the perfect gift. It's your one stop store for all things luxurious, practical, contemporary and decadent. In store you will find the perfect treat for the home, yourself, friends, family and clients. The store has become synonymous with beautiful and special gifts for babies, children and gift ware with a large range of fashion accessories.

Best regional art gallery I've ever experienced. Beautiful setting and the gallery space is to be experienced. Speaking to some vollies they are very proud of their gallery which supports a large group of local artists as well as holding the respected Stanthorpe Art Prize biannually. Have vivisted the gallery numerous times. Got lucky to be there once when some works from the galleries extensive collection were on display. Some amazing work.

We where staying in Stanthorpe, and had not been for a long while. My wife was running low on her lip balm, so we visited Washpool. My wife says they make the best lip balm, it works very well, and the fact you do not need to use much it last for a long time. The shop is amazing, filled with the fresh smells from the different soaps etc. The staff give first class service and are always willing to give very good advice. If your looking for excellent products with unprecedented customer service then give Washpool a visit

Stanthorpe Cheese

We are Stanthorpe's original cheese factory. We make cheese from our herd of Jersey cows and sell it in the on-farm shop, open every day (except Christmas, Boxing, Good Friday and local show holiday in January). We also stock a huge range of local products for the perfect picnic or accompaniment for your cheese platter. Our licensed cafe which serves produce from our farm is open 7 days for lunch.

Young kid and family visit, very accommodating and surprising how many cheese tasting options, dressings and chutneys they offer. Reasonable prices and great service under this COVID era. Recommend to others
