Took the plunge this year and sent our 5 year old to ski school as much as for him as for us! Although I've been coming to Les Gets for a number of years I hadnt paid that much attention to the ski schools so he ended up here due to a recommendation. ( Two years previously I'd seen an instructor from another school on his phone while teaching infants so at least knew what school I was avoiding!) Was booked in for a 2 hour lunchtime slot with Cederic. This meant we could ski when it was quiet and then have a late lunch..when it was quiet also. Arrived at the meeting point and met Cederic and the 4 other members of his class. Having been stuck in the middle of many never ending ski school snakes, 5 in a class is unheard of. The class were all between 5 and 8 and Cederic managed them wonderfully, even knowing when he needed to jump on a chairlift with a suddenly nervous one. Archie came back enthused each day and had come on so much by the end of the week that we were able to take him on red runs and even sneaked a cheeky black in when on Mont Chery. I was lucky enough to find myself behind the class one day and while it was great to see them all follow their instructor, what was even better to see was Cederic was watching them all the time giving out positive encouragement and instruction. Archie went back to his lesson on the dry slope when we got back this week and his instructor couldnt believe how much he had come on. Without Cederic this wouldnt have happened. Dont go past this ski school, Cederic was fabulous, and I get the impression that all their instructors are that good and attentive as well.

It was the perfect morning to start our 2020 December vacation. Arno took our family and our friends to a magical spot, not a long snow shoe walk away, as we had two children who were eager to start building a snow shelter called a quinzee. We have known Arno for many years, but this was the first time we organised an activity with him. It was such a great morning. Arno is a very friendly and welcoming guide who knows so much about the region, animals, birds and passes his knowledge onto the children in a very fun way. He was very well prepared and very professional. He even had lovely tea for us to enjoy. We cannot wait to book another trip with Arno. Thank you for a fun morning to end a year like no other.
