I love the FIA. The shows are always different and interesting. The shows offer new and mind-expanding works. Even the permanent collection offers something for everyone. I find something new to look at every time I go to the FIA.

Ah, the Trillium; it's a great place to spend a couple of hours, at the movies. The theatre is nice, and the staff is efficient, too!. Of course we enjoy the popcorn and diet coke, since it's our movie "comfort" food! The parking is handy, and the seats are comfortable.
Glad to have a nice theatre in our area!

What a beautiful cemetery for all of our servicemen! It is very well cared for and offers the most dignified setting ever! Just love it! One thing though that seems odd is that not all of the headstones contain darkened letters that are legible. Some have been left unpainted and this should be uniform for all of the sections, in my opinion.

Michigan Escape Games

An Escape Game is a real-life adventure game designed for small groups of 2-7 people. Your goal is simple: work together as a team, testing your wits and skills, to escape from a locked room in under 60 minutes. While the goal is simple, the game is challenging. Getting through the locked door will require finding clues, solving puzzles, and working together as a team or else you may not escape in time. A Great idea for a family outing, coworker challenge or a unique dating experience.

Our group has been here many times. We have escaped some rooms, while others not so lucky. Our most recent attempt was 'The Dwelling'. This is by far one of their hardest, most well thought out rooms we have been in. I have to give them kudos for their close attention to detail and the unique themes.
There is no repetition here each room stands on its own, with many puzzles to be mastered. They do a great job explaining how the game works, so there is never any doubt. I can't wait to return!

This newly build market is not only filled with fruits, vegetables and unique things, it’s also filled with great people and shops. If you visit almost any weekend there will be some kind of extra events. Maybe you’ll even see Santa and a couple handful of tubas playing Christmas songs.

Entering the Sloan Museum was a wonderful treat as a member of the 'cast' came up and provided my wife and I with a back story of real travelers on this ill fated ship. Gorgeous, over sized photos of the construction and mini-bios of real travelers lined the walls. As we explored further into the exhibit, we witnessed actual items retrieved from 12,000 feet below the Atlantic. An eerie feeling crept over us at the end of the exhibit as we learned the fate of our back story personas. While my wife was fortunate, to live another day, my character plunged beneath the waves, last seen by "my" son who clung to his mother in one of the life boats.

I shouldn't share this because I don't want this place to become too crowded for Back to the Bricks. This place has the best view and the best entertainment for the event. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is really pretty good. Stop by and check it out. You'll never go anywhere else during the even.

The rest of the year, this is a very nice neighborhood bar with very friendly staff and locals.
