Memorial Center of Nikola Tesla

Reviewed By Meddle33 - Croatia

Place was almost empty when we arrived and it was very beautiful and really quiet.
Nicely decorated, lot of interesting details in Tesla's house/museum, presentation with neon-light is impressive, especially for kids... Few machines in museum don't work and they need to fix it, some of neon-signs don't have light and they really need some small place for a coffee or some drink. Small restaurant would be perfect, they have so many visitors during the year and it would be great for all of them...
Ticket is not expensive, 50 KN for adult, 80 KN for whole family. Souvenirs are also not expensive, we got few small things for normal price.
Nikola Tesla was one of the biggest minds in human history, he deserves all the best for his birthplace. And people should stay longer than 45 min. here. So, please, make a coffee-shop or a restaurant!!! :-)
We want to drink coffee here, have some meal and enjoy for few hours in this magical place.

Lika River

Reviewed By Florence L - Olympia, Washington

I was incredibly lucky to be asked to take a tour down the Lika River when in Croatia in September and I'm glad I did. This 80 minute boat ride up and down the Lika River was relaxing and spectacular. I not only did still photo's but made a video from those photos because of the beauty of this man made River.
Notes: This is the longest river in Croatia. It is the second longest man made river in Europe. The river is drained every 10 years and cleaned. Seven hundred families once lived where the river now exists. The River was created by the dam which is down river. The river was built 50 years ago. Locals come here to fish.
