A pretty big park with some nice building in it and some attractions for kids! As far as the winter garden (in one of the building in the park) nothing to see but some turtles , rabbit and red fish but the house itself is pretty !

Gomel Regional Museum of Military Glory

Visiting as a former British Soldier, it was most interesting to see this site, and it's historical artifacts from WW1 to present.
In the entry way, you are greeted in Belarusian style by a lady is uniform who proceeds to lecture you (it seems so)... except, I have no idea what she is saying.
I feel this is an act because I'm clearly from the west, either way, her stern manner is soon broken down when I smile and crack a joke.
The staff around the site are helpful, and try their best to explain in English the importance of the artifacts.
The interior hosts a collection of uniforms, and weapons, as well as other historically valuable materials, whereas the outside has a significant collections of vehicles, including a very large soviet steam train, and a few helicopters and artillery guns.
This fantastic site is good for an hour or two of leasurely strolling,
