Del Rio Vineyards & Winery

We invite you to join us in the historic tasting room located in the heart of Rogue Valley wine country. Once home to the Rock Point hotel, originally built in 1864, the tasting room provides for a rustic and warm atmosphere while sipping wine. The facilities include a great outdoor location for a family picnic with a wonderful view of the vineyard. Join us any day of the week from 11am to 5pm. We look forward to seeing you and sharing the story behind the wine.

We were in town from LA around Labor Day Weekend and wanted to go wine tasting. The tasting is $10 for five wines. A steal compared to Napa/Sonoma! They come in little carafes so you pour yourself. There's only one menu so we ordered two of the same tasting. We came to Del Rio because we saw them listed on the Alaska Airlines Complimentary Tasting list. If you're interested, I write about it in detail on my blog, "The Luxury Lowdown" dot com. Didn't want to overload this post. The person that was helping us was super nice and carried our drinks to the back patio underneath a nice big tree. If you like Napa wines, then this is the region for you. I noticed a lot of Spanish varietals as well. We ended up buying the rosé and vc (viognier+chardonnay) blend. Regarding COVID, all the seats were outside. You only had to go inside to check-in or pay. The tables were definitely more than six feet apart so you had a lot of room between your group and another.

The Oregon Vortex House of Mystery

Funhouse where visitors can shrink, grow and stand at weird angles without falling over.

The last time I was here was in 2006 and it’s still a great place to visit! My husband is in a power wheelchair and although he couldn’t go into the cabin itself he was still able to enjoy the tour (this is the ONLY part of the tour he could not physically go). The tour guide even included him in a demonstration! Their helpful staff was there to make sure he got around safely!

Valley of the Rogue State Park

Reviewed By 2rollon - California, United States

Friend and I stayed here a week from Dec 27/17 to Jan 3/18. The campground was nice with large spaces. Loop D open in winter has full hook-ups. The facilities were clean and camp hosts friendly. Campground perfectly located between Medford and Grants Pass. We would recommend this park for one night stay or longer. Others have complained about freeway noise but we were back by river and were on bothered day or night by noise. We will stay here again.
