Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park

Chitactac-Adams Heritage Country Park is a 4.5 acre site located minutes away from Gilroy and Morgan Hill. It features the beautiful Uvas Creek and acres of historical legacies. Take a self-guided tour through a wealth of cultural artifacts like bedrock mortars and petroglyphs from the Amah Mutsun Tribe or the historic Adams schoolhouse.

We enjoyed going bac to Chitctac-Adams Heritage County Park. Parking and entrance is free. We enjoyed walking to learn more about the Ohlone Indians There are petroglyphs, stone grinding cooking stations, and more. There is a nice creek area as well.
