We prepurchased our tickets online and reserved one of the 10 front row tickets as well. it was worth the $10 for the front row space. We had great view and were right up against the open playing field area. We arrived around 6 pm (20 mins before they opened) as suggested by the website. We were the first in line. After giving our name to the ticket booth for our online reservation we paid our $5 for bringing in the pizza we picked up on our way and our snacks we brought with us, we quickly and easily found our spot and got parked. We left everything in our vehicle and went and got our free popcorn (you receive a coupon for free popcorn or 2 fountain sodas for $5 food permit). We did the free carousel rides with kids and they got a glow in the dark bracelet. We wondered back to our car and started setting up our viewing area. We brought folding chairs and a few plastic crates for tables or foot rests and tossed a few blankets and pillows in the back of our SUV for places to lounge. There were picnic tables near the front row viewing area for use. Our kids joined the other patrons children in the open playing field while my spouse and I relaxed. The train started running so my husband took our children for a ride. They had a great time. The bathrooms are small and only have 1 hand sink so 20 mins before start time they quickly got crowded and it was very difficult to maneuver through the crowded bathroom to reach the one hand sink leaving us t use the hand sanitizer I keep in our car. During intermission the bathrooms become flooded with patrons as well. The snack bars and food vendors get long lines the closer to the start of the movie and during intermission as well making it well worth the $5 we spent bringing in our own food. I was thankful we arrived early and secured our popcorn before the crowds arrived. We had a great time. Were very comfortable and enjoyed our movie and all the activities to do while we waited for it to start. The price is perfect especially on double feature nights 2 movies for price of 1. The only thing we would do differently,and it is our fault, is bring a battery operated radio. We do not have speakers in the back of our car so we could hardly hear the movie. The website recommends bringing a radio or renting one from the facility but we thought our car would be sufficient. Even with our speakers maxed out it was hard to hear so I recommend following their advice and bringing a radio.
