Geraldine Cinema

Saw the latest adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma” last night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. As other reviewers have said, this has a very old time feel about it. It has successfully avoided renovations, has a great mix of sofas and old style cinema seating to choose from, and I was even able to pull over a chair to put my sore leg up. Definitely recommend this cinema if you’re in the Geraldine area

Stopped by The Tin Shed on our way from Queenstown to Christ Church in the wonderful town of Geraldine. Shop had a great selection of New Zealand products. There best items were the possum-merino wool sweaters, scarfs, beanies and wraps. Very high quality with a good variety of each item. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. Pricing was some of the best we found anywhere in New Zealand. If you can't make it to the store they also have an excellent web site.

The Giant Jersey

Reviewed By baxterbeagle - Geraldine, New Zealand

Don't believe the reports that the giant jersey is no more. It is proudly on display at the tourist information in the Kiwi Country store (next door to the Z petrol station). I live taking friends along to see it promising a life changing event. And 95% of the time they take a photograph of themselves stood under it. It's just a pity that it's not more prominently displayed as whenever I'm showing friends it, a coach party of tourists will past it and not give it a second glance.
