Garland is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is a large city located east of Dallas and is a part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. It is located almost entirely within Dallas County, except a small portion located in Collin and Rockwall Counties. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 226,876, making it the 87th-most populous city in the United States of America and the 12th-most populous city in the state of Texas. Garland is second only to the City of Dallas in Dallas County by population and has easy access to downtown Dallas via public transportation including two Dart Blue line stations and buses.

Brand new modern Bowling Alley with premium Recliner seats in theaters showing current movies. XD theater premium sound effects. Waiters in theaters bring meals, snacks & drinks. Game Zone is massive, with a rock climb wall w/ safety harness, a 2nd story obstacle course, Bumper Cars, big Video games, and a real Pinball machine section. Bowling Alley and also VIP Bowling section private parties by pre-book. Full-service bar & waiters. Kitchen serves comfort food platters. Plenty of seating, everywhere. Plenty of parking, in a safe quiet area. Easy to find, right off the PGBT 190 Toll Expressway. Kids, Teens, even Adults have a great time here. Sunday-Thurs theater discount. Celebrate a birthday here, staff is great with kid's parties.

I was surprised by this place. It was in Garland and not too busy, yet it has some of the best beers I have had. I highly recommend trying their different stouts. The location is pretty unassuming and not as flashy as some of the other local spots, but there beer is far superior to most. If you have the time when in DFW, try going out of your way to enjoy a few hours here. You will relish it!

This old theater in downtown Garland has been beautifully restored. Since it is a small theater there are no bad seats. I have seen plays and live musical performances there! Good prices and great fun. Beautiful original art of “old” Garland hangs on the walls.

This Arcade Entertainment facility actually uses real nickels! Online Reservations are available for parties or groups needing table space. Great games at affordable pricing and they've been in business since 1996! The Nickelrama experience is fun for all ages. Food and Drink(no alcohol) can be brought in for parties(a huge cost savings in itself). A great place to bring friends and family!

Took the grandsons here on a Saturday. I thought it would be mobbed and crazy but, it was merely crowded. It cost $3.50 each to get in and I bought $5 in nickels for each. All machines were working properly and only had one machine error with coins getting stuck. Staff promptly started the game and gave us a bunch of nickels for the problem. Great response! Sure, tickets are turned in for mere trinkets but the kids had a blast. Thanks!

This event center is conveniently located just off the GWBT. It is continually booked with a full myriad of community events, from multi-city graduations, craft fairs, seminars, church events, comedians, you name it, it has well hosted events. Parking is great, the center staffs their own attendants all the way from the parking to throughout the center. Each time is open drink and food vendors are contracted. It is safe. I have been alone to several events and always felt safe. There are canned questions below that are not applicable. The center hosts many different types of events. Go to website and follow what is available.
