1階は物産販売コーナーになっており、ワインや地酒などの酒類やお菓子などのほか、特産品の「深谷ネギ」を使ったネギ油やネギ味噌などもありました。2階のベーカリーでは焼き立てパンやスイーツが100種類以上そろっており目移りしてしまうほどでした。コーヒーが無料サービスなので、テラス席に持ち込んですぐに味わうことも出来ます。2階の一部が「ふっかちゃんミュージアム」になっており、可愛らしいぬいぐるみがズラーッとならんでいるほか各種グッズも販売しています。なお、ＪＡの農産物直売所に隣接しているので野菜類は販売していません。

瓦葺きの大屋根で純和風の落ち着いた外観です。深谷ネギが有名ですが、ホウレン草や水菜などの新鮮な葉物野菜のほか、トマトやイモ類など色とりどりの野菜がギッシリと並んでいました。特に漬物類は種類も品数も豊富でした。また、ゆるキャラ「ふっかちゃん」の大小ぬいぐるみのほか様々なグッズも販売していました。

- Sakura , tulips...was beautiful on their bloom season (March - May) - swimming pool was clean and huge - foods was not good enough but ice cream ok

This buliding was once a villa of Viscount Shibusawa. The building is a mixture of European style and Japanese style. Both the wooden floors and pillars and the big windows of this villa remind me that of Ataturk House in Turkey. There is a guide inside the building. The guide speaks only Japanese, there's no English speaking guide, unfortunately. There's no entrance fee. The stained glass is unique, too. Worth visiting. The only bad point is that it's hard to access from the station. The best way to visit is by car.

七夕祭りの時に見つけました。300年以上も続いた歴史ある酒造の跡地を観光スポットとして再利用しているようです。味のある映画館に古本屋さん、カフェ、雑貨店、鬼瓦工房‥。規模は大きくありませんが、ノスタルジックな雰囲気でとても素敵です。

This shrine is just in front of the west exit of Fukaya station, and the best season to visit here is the time of cherry blossoms. The bank in front of the shrine is surrounded with cherry trees, so it looks like clouds of blossoms! The atmosphere is fantastic, worth visiting.

The Fukaya Tanabata Festival is said to originate from a star festival that was held in the days when the city was an Edo-period post town. Nowadays, it has turned into the premiere festival in Fukaya City and attracts many visitors from outside the prefecture. During the festival, the former Nakasen Road will be turned into a pedestrian-only zone and festooned with a variety of brightly colored paper and bamboo decorations for visitors to enjoy. Moreover, many events including a decorating contest will be held during the festival.

毎年行われる深谷の七夕祭り。平塚で見ていたような飾りを想像していたので、ちょっと小規模でミニチュア版って感じがしちゃったけど、屋台がたくさん並んでいて夏らしさを感じることができました。でもかなり暑かったです。市役所の駐車場が無料開放されていたのでそちらにとめましたが、朝10時頃でもうかなりの車がとまってました。

絹産業遺産として【富岡製糸場】が有名ですが、その【富岡製糸場】設立にかかわり、初代工場長であった《尾高惇忠（じゅんちゅう）》の生家が平成26年6月7日から一般公開されています。但し 深谷市が この邸宅を寄贈されてから1年程しか経過されていない為 十分な補強工事が行われておらず 邸宅内の鑑賞は出来ません。高崎城乗っ取りの謀議したと言われる2階は見学出来ませんが、邸宅奥に煉瓦造土蔵や台所のかまども煉瓦造りと 流石に 現在 重要文化財となっている旧煉瓦製造施設（日本煉瓦製造株式会社）の地元を感じさせます。又 こちらの煉瓦造土蔵は漆喰を改良したﾓﾙﾀﾙで煉瓦を接着させており、このﾓﾙﾀﾙが富岡製糸場の煉瓦積みの壁面造りに寄与したとの事です。 更に尾高惇忠の長女【尾高勇（ゆう）】は14歳で 富岡製糸場の製糸伝習工女の第一期生になっており 富岡製糸場や絹産業をより深く関心を持っておられる方に訪問お薦めします。
