My grandchildren could not get enough of this large sized children’s play park with a pirate ship and safe artificial waves to ‘swim’ in. There’s a cafe for adults, basic toilet facilities and cheap eats. There are toilets at the nearby beach too.

It was recommended by TripAdvisor and for a very good reason: it is definitely a very nice zoo. Having seen already quite a number of zoo's, this one stands out for its very nice layout. We were there at 10 when it opens and spent a couple of hours. At opening it is nice and peaceful as it gets more busy later. This way it allows you to enjoy the animals and scenery even more.
